Cartridge connector?

Anyone have any ideas or tips for mounting an extended cartridge connector in a case? I want to be able to insert my game cartridge's into the case as opposed to having a big old 8-bit cartridge flopping out the top of the case but have no idea for a practical way to do this. I can extend the connector no problem, I just need advice for a practical way to dock the cartridge and connector together inside the case.

L brackets. Mount them to the connector then screw or JB weld them onto the inside of the case.

How can I mount L-Brackets to the connector if there is no hole to screw them to? The cartridge already covers most of the connector that I have and hot gluing the brackets on the connector would not be a strong enough bond to keep the cartridge from ripping out the connector as the pins grip it pretty tightly.

I have seen connectors online such as here:

http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=S3326-ND

But I am wary of purchasing similar parts as the side tabs with screw holes look as though they would prevent a NES cartridge from sliding far enough over the port to make any connection with the pins...

Just for reference, the connector that I have is something like this:

If there is somewhere to purchase a connector that is better suited, that would be greatly appreciated.
