Well I probably picked the worst possible time to start a GCP, during my GCSE's. Ehh, whatever.
Anyways, I've all ready made some progress, currently waiting on a WASP fusion to be delivered.
I've cut the GC's board down to fit in the case, I could probably go smaller but this fits in my case just fine. The case I'm using is a Hammond project box, dimensions 165x100x32mm, bought it from Maplin and as far as I can tell it should be perfect. Not sure if batteries are plausible for the time being, if I have space I can always add them in at a later date.
Going to be using one of the eBay 3.5" screens, 3DS sliders, and custom laser cut face buttons and dual tact modded shoulder buttons (Super Mario Sunshine is one of my favorite games, so this was a priority), either using a trimmed GC heatsink, or another heatsink and a small chipset fan (I've allready tested my badly trimmed heatsink and it remains cool with the chipset fan), and possibly batteries (Open to suggestions, feel free to give me some ideas).
So yeah, pictures I guess,
Case is perfect for my hands, going to be pretty comfortable to hold I think.
Board and heatsink fit perfectly inside the case, might be replacing the heatsink.
Fan is tiny, quiet, and does a great job as far as cooling goes
SO YAH.
Sorting out custom regulators soon, then casework and WASP fusion after my exams.
Not sure whether to make the case portrait or landscape, opinions?
