BigBoy Advance Worklog (Quit Working on it) Close thread

OK this is just a really weird idea I came up with last night while sitting in the AC of my bedroom. LOL. I call it the BigBoy Advance cause it makes the Gameboy Advance much bigger than it originally was. Well I am almost finished with it. I need to figure out what to do about the game cartridge and the power button. Also how can I hold the mobo inside this case?

This is the outside top of the case.

Inside of the case. The mobo is temporarily taped in with some tape.

I cut a hole in the side of the case for the mod so I can power this thing on and off from the outside.

is there any benifit what-so-ever of this mod? it looks uncomfterble, unbalanced and less portable.

OK first off why don't you two go be dicks somewhere else.

The whole idea was to make it so it was not portable. Plus this is very comfortable it fits my big hands.

You find the exact center of the case. Exact center of screen. not hard from there.

Its not that hard to find the center of something.

Needed: Ruler

If you case is a square,rectangle, anything with a uniform shape, heres what you do.

Take ruler, line up top left corner, with bottom right. Draw a thin line in pencil so you can erase later
Take ruler, line up bottom left, with top right,. Draw thin line in pencil.


Where these two lines intersect, is the center. But you have to line them up pretty good.

Also, if your not willing to take the time to make something look good, why are you even doing it?

Wow that is all it takes???? Also just wondering can I also do this with a PSP game case? I think that is gonna be my next GBA mod. I am just going to not finish this one and try and put a GBA in a game box.
