battery issue.

Morning/afternoon all

Having a bit of an issue with my portable. I charge it up. Takes about the right amount of time. 2-3 hours yet when I start trying to play a game I cant no more than 10-15 minutes in before its dead.

Now has anyone got any advice, the parts I have used are as shown in the links below. Im a bit stuck on this one but the basic spec on this are:

Standard n64 trimmed a bit.
Ps one screen with led mod.
Pth08080was voltage regulator.
Small fan about 25mm running of the voltage regulator at 3.3v.
1st party controller used.
Batteries are out of a sony laptop 2x 3.7v cells. 2860mah.

And because I chose to glue the whole thing shut, working on it, it not the easiest affair. I have just cut power to the fan I put in there, and well, that didn't solve it Not a happy chappy. Many many hours work, and it all discharges in minutes

You would have to put a current meter in the system to tell if you are pulling too much power (presumably from a short), or if the packs aren't putting out their rated mAh (for whatever reason).

Shouldn't have sealed the deal without checking total operation. My sympathies on cutting it apart.
