Backlighting a GB pocket, help.

SS's Preferred Refreshment
I'm trying to backlight my GBP using an NDSL backlight, but whenever I put the backlight in, the picture is barely if at all visible, I'm using everything that came out of the backlight, but the picture just doesn't show up very well. I know it isn't draining any power from the LCD, because I tested it with the the film on the back of th eLCD still on, and the Backlight didn't dim the picture any then...So I really have no Idea what I'm doing wrong.

I have a 5.2k ohm resistor, DSL 4 LED Backlight, Clear MGB, etc.

Halp?

Not sure on this, but maybe you need moar resistance with the back light. Yo could try a higher value to see if it dims the back light enough.

Its not the backlight, its the film behind it, it doesn't quite contrast the LCD enough or something, because it just won't show up to well.

and mako, don't you think I tried that already? :/

Thanks to bibin. I had comepletely pulled off the polarizer on Two LCDs, Which I will fix with some from Nonelectronics, So for now, this one is finally done.

Sorry the picture sucks.

It's not final. I was just so *Can'tSayThisOnTV*ing tired of the flax not working so I threw it together. It'll be better later.
