Hey Guys, I got my WKF today and I want to use it for my GCp (in work).
Is there any Tutorial that describes how to built in the WKF?

btw. where can I get a simple breakout-board for the ribbon plugs?

The newhavendisplay breakout board you posted is 36pin, the FFC cable can fit in both of these just insert toward the side and wire up only to where you need.
Which lead me to believe that any size FFC can fit into any FFC connector of same size or larger as long as the pitch(spacing) is the same.

I also suggest looking at the reference section at the made by bacteria site

PS, I don't understand why you can't post links to that site.

I think I try method 2 of the tutorial.

Method 2: Solder to the ribbon
I use this method because it saves a little room. I attempted it the first time while waiting for a breakout board in the mail. When the board arrived it was the wrong type, but by that stage my chip was installed and working fine!
Here’s a link to a quick guide on the method:

It’s important to avoid burning/melting the cable. Using flux helps tremendously to get the solder to stick quickly and accurately to the wire tips and the ribbon cable tabs themselves. Using too much solder will risk bridging multiple pins, which will then need to be heated again to be fixed (risking melting).
