Action Replay on my portable

Hello, I am planning on making a GCp but, I would like it to be dynamic. I want to use Action replay for my portable and not a mod chip as I don't want to have hombrew on my GC (My Xbox does that.)

I however am not sure if nintendo has made it so action replay no longer works on the wii. I would like to play the GC "backups" on my friends gamecubes and my wii.

Also if I got action replay if it is able to be moved from system to system, can I still have memory card A as the internal memory or does A have to be open for the Action replay, how will that work?

I'm like 99% sure that it doesn't work after a certain FW update...Use the AR for GC backups only. As for the wii, use an SD card. Google it, Install the Homebrew channel, then spend about a day fiddling around with backup launchers and custom IOS's or whatever and you'll be able to load backups.

Also, I'm pretty sure slot B is the required memory card slot of the AR, I can't say for sure but that's how I remember it.
