a question about gamecube analog stick

i found this ^^ on sparkfun (which has a ton of awesome crap)
it has four pinouts though. i would like to know what the pinouts of the original left analog stick are (cause that has 6 pins)
and the c stick (which also has 6 pins BUT the cable going from the c stick board to the main controller board itself)
how would we get a nub to work with these 6 pins or can we do a 6 to 4 pin conversion the way the cstick board does.

i hope i'm on to something here.

You can use it, it's just a PSP analog. Same pins as a normal potentiometer-based analog stick, but the input voltage and grounds are bridged.
