Hi all,
Nearly reaching completion on my portable n64, and well, made a small Chicken up.
When my screen wasn't responding (turned out to be a dry joint on the capacitor that kick starts the screen) I accidentally wired one of the speaker out lines to ground, and think I have fried the chip.
It got bloody hot, and well no sound comes out of the speakers now. Head phones work fine. But I've screwed up the normal route for sound. Can anyone advise how I am best to get sound to my speaker, from I assume the rca out lines from the n64 board? I'm guessing I will need an amp?
Many thanks
Nick
