Hello,
Quick question just to confirm this is not ill advised; would I be able to power my SNES (SNS-101) with a 9V/ 1A power supply? This is a little more than the original supply in terms of amperage but I assume it will only pull what it needs, just wanted to verify nobody has had any issues doing this. I am currently using a 9V/ .85A wall adapter, however, I am looking at a power regulator that steps up the USB power from my 4K TV to 9V and it would be nice to use one last spot on the power strip (I would of course test with the multi meter ) Thanks in advance for the response(s)!
