90's Network Diagnostics terminal -> All-in-one gaming rig

Those are connectors for the backlights. Some people have found them to be finicky to extend, but you can try.
If it's an LED backlit monitor it might be better.

I knew they were for the backlighting, but I was wondering if that is actually some sort of generic connector that could be easily extended...

And what about these is so finnicky to extend? Should I know something before I pop the sockets off and solder on some more wire?

It wasnt.

I powered on the screen, only to find that there is something wrong with the backlight inverter board....the backlights flicker on and off in intervals of around 3 seconds....I think its time to purchase another monitor and replace this *Can'tSayThisOnTV*ed up one....


In other news, the rest of the project is done except for cable management, ventilation, and lighting. Im going to mount two more fans on the side of the case, and Im going to mill some holes for the PSU fan. When everything is done, Im going to mount a few red cold cathodes on the inside of the case
