1st party joystick anolog rewire issue.

I am literally 90% done with my new portable, and for 3 days I've gotten better and faster at this. But for this portable I decided to use the 1st party Nintendo 64 controller and everything works except the bloody analog. It goes up and it goes down, but no left or right. I've extended the wires and re soldered them. But All I get is up and down. Left and Right do not work.

Any thoughts ?

When there is an issue in a portable, it's almost always bad wiring or a broken part. It would be helpful if you could show us a picture of the wiring. Also I recommend double checking that you have it connect correctly.
