Re: Gamecube Portable
Today I wired up the 128MB memory card to the GameCube.
I have done this before and it was easy following the diagrams on the different forums.
Its not the prettiest thing in the world but I wanted to make sure it was stuck down and wasn't coming off. Works flawlessly.
Re: Gamecube Portable
So the GameCube motherboard with the mega drive v5 installed came yesterday and its just perfect. Works great with the WASP fusion. I love auto boot! Here a picture.
Hey everyone,
I'm back after selling my old portable to make a new and improved one.
The goal for this one is to be as small as possible and simple at the same time. I dont want to mess around with trimming or cutting anything.
Hopefully it will be like Tchay's Ccube portable but with no disk...
Hi everyone,
I need to know the best way to cool my GameCube.
Should I use thermal paste that's not from the original heat sink?
If so what thermal paste should I get?
Or should I try salvage the original thermal paste?
If I do use different thermal paste should I apply it like any other CPU...
Thanks it will help.
Edit:
Ashen says if you can fit two ports then he highly recommends it. maybe i should and not risk damaging my portable.
Oh well i can live with it :(
Thanks for the quick reply though

I could have one power port that goes to a on off switch that powers the GameCube and charges the battery at the same time when ever that plug is...
