Making my First Real Gamecube Portable

Hey everyone,
I'm back after selling my old portable to make a new and improved one.
The goal for this one is to be as small as possible and simple at the same time. I dont want to mess around with trimming or cutting anything.
Hopefully it will be like Tchay's Ccube portable but with no disk drive... I wish.

Specs:

5 inch eBay screen
DOL-CPU-50 GameCube motherboard (rev c) from badassconsoles
Mega drive v5 from badassconsoles
WASP Fusion from badassconsoles
Original GameCube controls
128MB Built in memory card (Slot A) from eBay
12v 6800mAh Battery pack eBay
PAM8403 mini amplifier from Ali express
iLuv ISP100 speakers from ebay
Switching headphone jack from eBay
11v Low battery indicator LED form eBay
2 Micro fans on the heat sink & 1 at the top of the case from eBay.

By the way Bad ass consoles is amazing :D

Re: Gamecube Portable

So the GameCube motherboard with the mega drive v5 installed came yesterday and its just perfect. Works great with the WASP fusion. I love auto boot! Here a picture.

Re: Gamecube Portable

Today I wired up the 128MB memory card to the GameCube.
I have done this before and it was easy following the diagrams on the different forums.
Its not the prettiest thing in the world but I wanted to make sure it was stuck down and wasn't coming off. Works flawlessly.

More progress will happen soon. I bought a new GameCube for a new heat sink and some other parts. Want to get the cooling sorted before i continue.
New pictures soon.
