ZN-40 Portable Gamecube

Would the ZN-40 case work for a gc portable ?
Would it need to be trimmed, if so how much?

Specs - 5.25 x 9.18 x 1.68 in. / 133.35 x 233.17 x 42.67 mm /

Would I be better of using the ZN-45?

Both of them are actually the most favored cases for a GCp. Yes people have done it before in a ZN-40 case but if you are keeping the DVD drive then go for a ZN-45.

I was planning on running wode, so no DVD drive. Without it would I be good on size? W/ or W/out trimming?

I think you might have to trim it down a bit. However I have never held a ZN-40 or a ZN-45 in my hands before so I am not 100% certain.

The ZN-45 case is a great case for a GameCube
Portable if you have a disk drive in it but if you don't that might
Be to big.

since you stated that you're using a WODE you should be fine. maybe some slight trimming will be needed, but it should be pretty easy to fit it in a zn-40.

im still getting to know the forum terms but sorry if this is a "bump" (?) but what is a wode?

A WODE is a modchip designed for Wii that can be used to boot Gamecube images on a Gamecube.
The Wiikey Fusion is also a modchip for Wii that does this.

We just did what we do best. We took the wode/wiikey and hacked up to make it work another way. Namely, on the gamecube.
