yes, but you still need a step down regulator for the 3.3v line.(it is a bit of a waste to have 9v go to the 7805 though...)

It's Lithium Ion, which means it isn't actually 9v. It's probably stepped-up 7.4v.

No 7805 needed. The N64 circuit board has a 7805 on it, and that's what he was referring to.

You will need some sort of regulator to get 7-ish volts for the screen. Ask that luke-something guy who used this battery.

Or just find the 7.4v line before they step it up to 9v and tie in there.
