This evening, Idecided to give Hammer a go. So I just started messing around. Ive read through the base tutorials, and I have some experience in AutoCAD. Ive got a few basic things built. (boxes you can spawn in with lights and a few props, hardly "levels")

I dont have any particular questions (at the moment :dahroll:), Im just curious if any of you gots any skill or experience in hammer, or other aspects of the source SDK?

Any tips?

If you ever wanna model a real-world structure, grab Sketchup.

Google Sketchup, real simple 3D Modeler, you know the one.
There's a plugin for it to export stuff to hammer.
Sketchup is very oriented toward architecture, and has many tools to help you model real world stuff.

I once made a 1:1 replica of the construction company my mother works for, inside and out.
Played L4D on it.
Was sweeeet.
