WKF question.

Gonna buy a WKF from foundmy. Have a question. Instead of using the ribbon cable could I use a thing wire and solder to the contacts instead of soldering to the ribbon cable? Don't want to use a breakout board and the ribbon cable seems like a pain.

You have four options. 1, is buy a break-out board and solder that up. 2, is solder directly to the FFC. 3, is solder directly to the points on the wiikey. 4, is commission somebody to solder it for you.

An FFC (usually called FFC Cable) is just the cable that comes with the Wiikey Fusion. Most FFC cables are white with blue at the ends.
