Wireless PS1 & PS2 controllers

I'm currently working on a project to heavily mod my PS1 console and I really want to have a wireless controller for it. I have seen people make wireless NES, SNES, SEGA and N64 controllers but I've never seen any for PS1 or PS2. Is there anyone on here that has done it? Or anyone that knows of any guide I could follow? I bought a cheap wireless controller that looks exactly like a Sony controller but its really cheaply made and you have to press really hard on the buttons to get them to work, I started a mod to try put the guts of an official Sony controller into the case of the cheap one but its turning out to be a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'd really appreciate it someone could help with this.

Thanks.

I'm a bit late to reply here, but if it matches up perfectly with the first party controller, you might be able to put the board inside a first party shell. If that doesn't fit, try swapping out the membranes between the two. They are usually the part at fault for flax controls.
