Washed out AGS-101 Screen

Finally got the LCD installed into my GBA and got images to appear. Now however my issue is that the image is faded/washed out. I've messed with the potentiomete/trimpot thing but I don't know if I should be turning it more than 1 full turn in either direction.

I don't want to forget the OG position so I've kept it within 1 full turn and marked the screw with marker. Has anyone else had this issue or know what I can do to solve my problem?

I've been twisting and turning the trimpot through the back of the GBA and literally this is best picture I can get without there being a TON of lines across the screen.

Any ideas? My soldering joint seams pretty solid and connected well, and I feel like if I bumped the wire I'd get feedback on the screen if it had to do with the soldering joint...
