Want 5 inch tft monitor! (Will buy or trade current monitor)

I have recently bought a 5 inch tft monitor and upon receiving the monitor, I found that the screen I got did not appeal to my liking. I think that the screen I got was too much like a rectangle and not as much like a square. This elongated design did not appeal to me and want the same size screen ashen has but, I dont want my screen to be VGA or too expensive (Round 30-35...maybe will go up to 45ish). So i am wondering if anyone has found a tft monitor online for cheap that is like a square shape but still cheap. Also if you have one, i will be willing to trade you my screen for yours and vise versa.

would like it to be dimensions of this screen but i cant use this screen because as far as i know, you can only do the VGA mod with this particular screen.

Not exactly on topic, but I think what you are looking for is a screen with an aspect ratio of 4, instead of 16:9.

Are you sure that is what i mean? I mean, will the aspect ratio of 4 give me the more squareish kind of screen?

Yes 4 is the square screen, you are thinking of 1:1 screens and I don't think these exist. But another option is 5:4

Edit: 5:4 is probably best option to get square if you can find a proper size

if you are talking about 5:4, you probably wouldn't find any. After an actual search, not just a quickie, these seem to only come in 17" and 19"

4, you have a couple options
the dalian "good display" vga screen found by a seller on aliexpress (need the component cable chip)

or search this
"4 640x480 5"

AHHH i have looked everywhere and i cannot find ANY 5inch tft monitor with aspect ratio 4 that doesn't involve you having to use the VGA mod for it to work :'(

edit Actually i think this screen might work! Dont mind it being 4.3 inches across as long as it is square! However, i am slightly concerned because the pictures they show of the screen itself are conflicting eachother.

Even though the auction says so, it's not 4. Kind of strange really, you'd think they would "misinform" the auction description of the screens aspect ratio the opposite way and say its 16:9 when it's really 4.

Depending on the project of course, but I still think the psone screen is still the best 4 5" screen. Lots of documentation for newbies, thin, and still relatively affordable. Try looking for a zenith 5" screen. Same internals as the psone screen, slightly cheaper from what I remember seeing recently.

Thanks for your imput. I am aware about the zenith and the psone screen but i feel as if the dimensions of the motherboard behind those screens are too big. Also i did end up snooping around some more and found this screen: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-3-TFT-LCD-Col ... 0567288071

But im looking at all the picutures and i am, once again, getting mixed messages. It seems as if this screen isnt square like and i dont want to be putting money into a screen that i do not like. I dont really have money to throw away on this project so i want to be 100% sure at what i am buying.
