Using the GBASP AGS-001 Screen on a GBA?

Hi,

I'm new to these forums but I'm wanting to expand my interest in modding old consoles.

I was wondering if the AGS-001 GBA SP screen would be able to work with the Game Boy Advance?

I know that the AGS-001 is a Front-lit screen and the AGS-101 is a back-lit model. So can I use the front light on the Game Boy Advance or does it have to be backlit?

I have never done it but I think you can use both screens. You just need the right adapter. Below are some links that might be useful for further research.
