Top Mount Wii Drive

I have been looking all over the forums for this I dont think this would be too hard of a mod to do I just dont know how and im in the process of figuring it out but it would be easier if someone explained it to me

All jokes aside, could you plug and play a Wii mini drive into a real Wii motherboard? You'd obviously have to mod it but that would be easier than devising some way to mod the Wii's DD.

Im pretty sure it would be harder with the Wii mini drive and cost more because they also have different connectors im pretty sure of that
