Hot Dang I love EL wire. I wanna wrap myself in a big bunch of it it and then go to a rave or something.

Lookin' sexy so far, Thursty. :awesome:

Heatsink? It's stock. I don't have to modify the N64 at all to put the batteries in.

Okay so, this is the little idea I came up with for the custom controller plug. Basically, I needed a plug that would carry 3.3v for the controller, 7.4v for the screen, Audio/video, Data, and the proper grounding.

So I used a DB-9 connector, 3 gnds, and the above voltages/signals. Here is the connector, I know it's ugly, but you don't see it when connected.

Here's the plug, not sanded yet.

Tested, and works well. If you ever need anything like this, I just used male and female DB-9 connectors, along with a cord from a PS2 controller, which conveniently had 9 wires.

This is awesome! I May have to copy you (and the movie) and put EL wire on every console I own. Because lord knows I have plenty and not the foggiest what to do with it.

Seriously looking quite excellent.
