The polynomial issue

I picked up the Indie pulse pack today on steam, so as to get The Polynomial at 1/2 off. However, it refuses to run on my PC. It simply gives an error stating:

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact applications support...yadda yadda...

I have tried reinstalling both the game, and all versions of visual C, along with trying every compatability mode setting, and even switching to my mobo's discreet graphics. No dice, and google aint showing anything. Any ideas?

Ive only tried on my desktop, as my Pc-p is rather unusable for awhile. (partially wired for power, etc.)

Edit:
A reformat and a new install of windows, and its working just fine.

Highly recommend this game to anyone who really wants to freak while tripping acid, and anyone who just likes music, and purty colours.

I keep a clean image of windows backed up all the time. I just reverted back like 2 weeks to the fresh install I pulled then.
