Reverse portableizeing?

Yeah, probably. It's been thought of before.

But what's the point? There's the Super Game Boy and the Game Boy Player. Also, you can play Game Gear games on a Sega Master System with an adapter, I think.

Other way around, you can play master system on a game gear. the Master system couldn't handle the game gear game's color palate.
 
It has been done but is mostly pointless. It's easy with something with TV out but with say a Game Boy it's a lot harder. A vanilla GBA is your best bet as TV converters are relatively cheap and easy to get.
