RadioShack regulators?

Does RadioShack sell the parts needed to drop 7.4v to 1.9v? If so can someone tell me what I need? I'm figuring they don't just want to test my trimmed GC mobo ASAP and I don't want to have to wait for a reg to come in the mail.

Do you still have the stock regulator? You can still use that with 12v.

I know you can't but what would happen if you ran a GC reg on 7.4V?

No it wouldn't output anything. It needs at least 10v to run properly.

So if I took my 7.4v batter and upped it to 10v with my only regualtor could I use the official reg?

Do you not have anything that outputs 12v and a couple amps? I'm guessing you probably have the GC power supply, just use that and away you go. No reason to reinvent the wheel. Upconverting that much power without the right parts is even more difficult than making a 1.9v regulator from radioshack parts.
