Psone Screen Brightness Problem

A long while ago I ordered a PsOne Screen off of ebay. The description said that the screen is very dim, like, barely visible, even with the brightness all the way up. I tested the screen with both a PsOne and a plug n play game, and it still gives the same low brightness. I have a feeling it's a bad capacitor somewhere, but I'm not sure which one. What do you guys think?

On the phone screen board you can jump capacitor CV30 to make the screen brighter. The one you are looking for is actually right under CV23, as the silkscreened legend of capacitor numbers is scrunched together to fit in the space provided.

This is normally used for those have omitted the backlight for the led mod. I'm unsure if it will work with the stock backlight.

Thanks. Just bridged the CV30. It's slightly brighter, but it's still very dim.
