PS1 9000 series in a schoolbox?

I did my research on cases. I found an old schoolbox in some of my stuff and I'm thinking of using it for my original playstation. I understand I'd have to reinforce it so with that not being a problem, would this work?

Actually, I decided on doing a different system. I'm gonna use my 64. Currently it's not with me so does anyone have ideal dimensions for a case?

If it's your first, I would suggest not worrying about making it really small. There's enough things to worry about with an N64 portable, anyway. Just make it look nice and you will have a respectable portable.
