Due to the vast majority of NES systems having the textured top you see all over eBay, that 1987+ motherboard, and all of the clichéd aspects of most NES consoles, I would like to help contribute something to the NES portable mods. Which ones have the best video, reliability, and/or audio? Let's find out by comparing NES motherboard revisions!
I have an NES to use as a template.
Motherboard Revision and Year: NES-CPU-04, 1986
Serial #: N0260073
NES Power/Reset Assembly PCB (yes, there's more than one version): NES-SW-01
NES Top, Lid, & Bottom Surfaces (Smooth/Textured): Smooth, Smooth, Smooth
NES Bottom # (i.e. NO,1 | 3, etc.): NO,1
Feel free to contribute something! In case you have the original receipt, please include that as well (if you want to)! If your system(s) do(es)n't have all of the screws, chances are that you may have a "swapped" system (i.e. textured top N1154262, 3 printed on the bottom), which probably should not be listed. If the pin connector has been replaced, I would still recommend listing your system.
