I saw that on Kotaku yesterday. I was thinking "what if 5-6 years in the future when the PS4 and Xbox 720 come out if you would be able to get these cheaply".

i bet the ps4 and 720 are closer than that. current PC games (seen metro 2033?) are looking better on the pc versions than the xbox/ps3 counterparts. in the past, when thatshappened, a new console or several are released within 2-3 years. and yes. same thought i had.

I gave up consoles ages ago. The last generation was the last great hurrah. The two before were epic, and the one before that was pretty sweet too. I remember browsing ebgames.com, looking at all the consoles, and the awesome but useless accessories, and drooling over sweet-ass games.
