Park somewhere farther away that is free and walk? Ride a bike? Segway?
I doubt you'll be able to cheat the system. The magnetic strip might just be the ticket's ID number, and the time it was taken is stored in the ticket issuing/receiving machine.

It's ridiculous to park at my university as well. I just use public transportation, and the CUMTD buses are free for students. Sooyeh.

If anyone wants to offer their ethical/moral opinion, thanks but I already know the difference between right and wrong and will probably try to cheat the system regardless of if I get help.
