Alright, So I'm in the planning stages of upgrading my computer system right now, and one of the big things I'm looking at is displays.
I'm interested in setting up a triple screen system with 16:10 displays. I'm not too worried about a mount, I can build that myself, But I would like some help finding screens for this.
I'm looking for at least 1920*1200 resolution and around 150dpi.
I'm not interested in a screen larger than 24'', and the 17-20 range is optimal.
Of course, minimal bezel is desirable on these, but I'm not afraid to void some warranties to get rid of a bit of bezel if it saves me $100.
I would like something that has a strong supply and preferably at the start of it's product lifespan: I expect to spend a year or two getting them all together.
It needs decent vertical viewing angles, I want to put them in portrait orientation for daily use.
Tilt sensors are a plus for when I just HAVE to go into landscape for movies or something stupid like that.
LED backlit is a plus.
Color accuracy is important
I'm not afraid of laptop screens, as long as I can get a kit for them. (last I checked, NJYTouch doesn't offer kits for LED backlit screens).
I would like them to be less than $200 each, but I'm just planning right now, so I can swing to $250-$300 to make life easier.
So, if anyone knows a magic cheap screen that fits all of my criteria, please let me know. I'm not good at this. It seems there aren't many 16:10 screens because people are stupid or something.
