I'm thinking of making the memory card internal to the n64 portable, I'm trying to decide on a Memory Rumble pak solution, I would like to have both, and use one of those 1mb 492 page memory card solutions, I have looked at the Nyko Hyper Pak Plus with it's 4 banks of memory to switch through, not crazy about having to wire a 4 way selection switch for the banks and a memory rumble switch, I even found an IGN review that says the memory on the Nyko is compressed which could make it a little unstable at times.
I was really thinking of going with a TremorPak Plus so you can add your own memory card, and I have found 1mb 492 page memory card Radio Shack brand that I believe needs no switches to go between the 4 memory banks, I think it would be simpler for the end user to use, not having to switch through banks I mean.
Any advice or suggestions on this type memory rumble setup for my portable?
