N64 Charging

Is there a way so that I can charge the batteries for a portable but still be able to play at the same time?

I've asked this myself. I'm not sure if smart chargers can do it while charging, if they were meant to anyway.


If they charge and power the amperage will probably be split between the battery and the charger mostly coming from the charger because of the higher voltage and the rest from the battery.

I'm just not sure if they were designed for that.
