My first backlight, great now where's the picture?

Yep i did my first gameboy backlight but I ran into one problem it wont show anything on the screen. I took off the back polarized film then replaced the front one with a new one. And when the backlight isn't in place it shows picture when the polarized films are put back so its not the ribbon cable or anything that's wrong. Here are some pictures I hope someone can help me with this, thanks.

Uh, yeah, you need a polarizer on the front and a polarizer on the back of the LCD as well. Your backlight kit (if you bought one) should have had one for the back.

You should have left the front polarizer on the whole time, and then inserted the transparent polarizer between the LCD and backlight.

wow this is a late reply but thanks Bibin I took apart a gameboy i had that wasnt working and took the front polarizer off that one and put it on this one and it worked. Ill post pictures later but thanks for the help
