Hi my name is Moyakong Im new over here and this is my first portable ever. Right know the only thing that Ive done is connecting the regulator. Next step is buying my screen, the wiikey fusion and of course installing the mem cards etc... Sorry for my english, Im from Quebec, Canada (french province). Without doing in perpuse, i think i broke a capacitor and i would like to know if its a big problem, i saw on the Ashen's guide that its for sound my question is, can I replace it with another one or i leave it like that (bcuz the cube works and the sound also)
This is my mobo:

Thank you everybody!!! I hope i can count on you guys! merci beaucoup!

Just to let you know because your GameCube Motherboard is a DOL-CPU-10, the Wiikey Fusion normally will not work (it will just freeze when you press the eject switch). However, if you flash Swiss to your Wiikey you will be able to use it. Good Luck with your Portable.

Sorry moyakong I don't know how to flash Swiss to the Wiikey and I don't know if there is a tutorial on how to do it. For my GameCube Portable I have a mobo with IPL 1.1 so my Wiikey is compatible (your CPU-10 is IPL 1.0, making it not compatible). This is why I really never went into detail with flashing Swiss. There are other people on here that have done it and I'm sure they can help. The only person I know off the top of my head is Ashen (cuz he's just awesome :D) Good Luck with your GCP and have fun!!

Hey cool! So Im not the first canadian doing a GCP lol, maybe the first quebecker? who knows lol

ASHEN! I've heard ur the man! Help me with this please!

First tip, this is to much exposed wire:

Seriously, you want exactly 0% wire to stick out beyond the point where you solder it to. You are just asking to fry something with the way you have it.

Ok thank you Ashen! Ill try to cover them, and the new one ill leave only 2 mm max. Ashen and for flashing swiss for the wiikey do you know how to do it? Or maybe where i can find a tutorial?

Thanks for the advice (give me as much as possible i learn really fast).

I know that this can replace the reset , bios battery +, but what about the rest of the connections? Please help me.

I soldered directly.
If you do not trimm much your mobo, you don't need to relocate anything.
Just put coloured wires in the first pic you put from kasar's guide and wire the battery + and - and led with the original resistor to the correct pin.
The guide is helpfull a lot for us(noobs). You only need to solder wire to wire and put the power 5V(if you plan to put rumble) and 3.4V and GND.

Thank you MoRziLLo, i wanted to relocate bcuz when i took out that port i broked a few pins, but what i did basically is to relocated most of the connections like in the picture before youre comment. I turned on the gcp and it works!!! But its very very and i insist very delicate so i have to buy some hotglue or something to fix them. Thank you amigo for youre help!

Hi guys I restarted again with my MoyaKube, Like most of you all know im a beginner in this world and thank to you guys Ive so so so far, More than i never thought. What ive done is:
Conecting the gc memory card (still waiting for the gecko and wiikey fusion Megalomaniac sended them to me)
Controler
Video
sound
And i order one sample at okw of a case and they sended me two!

Im waiting for my screen 7 in at ebay, the wiikey ( most of the connection are already solded from the gc). The case, and i scrapped 2 2 gc controller already, im doing another try.

Right now guys, im stucked with the stereao jack, for headphone, in all the forums, what i found, is that in order to connect it to the audio amp and speakers, you need 5 connections.
Problem, mine has THREE connections lol What can i do guys please? Again thanks for youre help.

Any suggestion?

Guys now i have a big big problem i tried to trim the motherboard so it can fit in the case, but now it doesnt turn on. I tried to sand the side that i trimmed but i dont know here a video explaining everything, sorry for my accent.
http://youtu.be/ACAfoAw5DDo

Please can u guys help me?

Did you really sanded those edges? It looks really gross.
I can also see some evades of your Dremel blade in places that's suppose to have traces that you can't cut.

1st thing to do: Sand those edges. The intention of doing it, is prevent layers to touch each others.
2nd: Check carefully if there's some damaged traces.
3rd: Wire power directly to the CPU and GPU. Take a look at Ashen's trimming guide to know where exactly you need to input voltages.
4th: Check if the ARAM regulator is properly grounded, since you've cut so close to it.

Ill try to do everything u just told me and ill tel if theres something wrong.
But for now i want to tell you that ive been checking the voltage from the powerboard to the gc and theres no electricity passing in any pins. Just for my info, to ceck the voltage on the pins in the gamecube, i hav to put the positive on any pin that i want to check, and the negative on the ground pin right? Because thats what ive been doing and the voltage is 0.... So maybe is the powerboard, but thats a big coincidence that the same day that i trimmed the motherboard, my powerboard stopped working......

Update:
So i just have to check these two picture, after sand the corners or course?
