Right, so I've been working to repurpose my old laptop as a lightweight web host for a while now.
I think I've gotten all the bugs figured out, but I want to be proven wrong.
So I'm offering up free* web hosting to people in exchange for you telling me when something goes wrong under normal use.
*This hosting service is free because it comes with no warranty implied or expressed.
I can not guarantee that your information will be private or secure
I can not guarantee up-time
I can not guarantee that your data will remain on the server
I can not guarantee that you will maintain access
I basically can not guarantee anything, and you should not expect anything from it.
You are expected to maintain your own backups of any data you care about.
That said, I will *try* to maintain good up-time and stability, and all that jazz, but I will make 0 promises.
By using this service, you are agreeing that you know that it comes with no guarantees of any sort, and that I will not be held liable for any damages that arise from use or misuse of the service.
Also of note: You are more than welcome to host ads on any webpages you build, and you agree to not use the website for illegal purposes. IE: Don't use it for file-sharing of anything that you don't have the legal rights to share. Or plotting to kill the president. Don't do that either.
TL;DR: If you want a place to muck around a bit with building webpages, and aren't too concerned about what happens to it, or just want a bit of space to host stuff online, let me know.
