Li-ION laptop battery

well, yes, it would work. but If i had it, I would pull it apart and wire the cells for 7.4v at 8ah

Phoenix Down!!!!!!!

I do want to pull this battery apart for size but it has no screws or anything. Normally I use my pocket knife and a lighter but this is a battery. I don't want it to 'splode.

Use small flatheads and dig at it, do flax to penetrate something that looks like 2 case halves meeting. Then, just rip the *Can'tSayThisOnTV*er to pieces. Works for camcorder batteries :p

Ok. But what's flux? And is it expensive? Also, I don't mean to ask too many questions. But I've heard most people are really nice and don't mind helping. Thanks.

That's just the wordfilter for a certain synonym of "excrement".

As for flux, it's used in soldering to help the solder flow and adhere to joints, but that's not what you were talking about.

Neither of them are expensive, in case you were still wondering.

Well I got it open. I just don't know what to do with the cells. There are eight of them. Later I can put up a picture to show size if that'll help.
