Laser diode driver board

I'm making a laser out of a dvd drive out of a computer I recently got for free. I am wondering what kind of driver board I need to power this sucker I was looking at these http://mfgcn.com/id2.html but don't know what to get.

I wouldn't bother with an expensive driver as that would defeat the whole purpose of the project. I think PalmerTech knows a lot about this sort of thing.
