Ibook G4 Battery for GCP

I happen to have a couple of ibook g4s and spare batteries, it's just 6 18650s. Considering their use in laptops and vapes has made them easy to find for cheap(Heck, even Teslas run off of 18650s), you'd probably be better building a pack from scratch. With that ebay link, you're paying for the casing and circuit, and I wouldn't really trust the batteries to be what they claim.
Also, you'd still need to obtain a smart charger for the batteries. Usually this is taken care of by the laptop, leaving minimal circuitry in the battery pack.

I thought that having a battery indicator would be a good benefit. Also, I thought that the charger that comes with the iBook g4 would help be charge faster; my current 7.4v 5000mAH batteryspace charges extremely slowly.

Well, I guess that brings up an interesting point: If you're intending to keep the thing entirely intact and have it removable to charge with a laptop, it might be worthwhile.
