Herma's PC-Portable(ish)

So, I decided I needed to do something. My dad doesn't have a computer. We have tons of older computer sitting around. But I want to do more than just throw a flaxty computer together for him. I am going to throw a flaxty computer together for him, but put it all in a briefcase!

So basically it's going to be a P4 PC with integrated graphics running WinXP. This isn't for gaming, this is for my dad. All he's going to do is run Office and look at porn.

The features of this beast will be:
1) Pentium 4
2) Integrated graphics
3) D-Link DWL-G520
4) Around 2 GB DDR2. May upgrade later.
5) 40 GB HDD
6) Windows XP Professional
7) ~300 Watt PSU (probably gonna change it out with another equally as flaxty, but smaller one).
8) A flaxty monitor.
9) Floppy drive
10) DVD Drive
11) Keyboard with trackpad.

This was my grandpa's old office computer.

So yeah. I am planning everything out, finding out where I want to put the support brackets, where I need to drill a few holes, where I want to place everything, what I need to relocate, etc.. I think I may make a vacuumforming table before I finish this so I can make everything all pretty.

Pics...eventually. Maybe when I get everything.

9) Floppy drive.
Will your dad need one? It could free up some space if it's not needed. Even though they aren't very big, you could stick something else in there. As long as it has a DVD drive, which it does, I don't really see a need for a floppy drive, but hey. It's your call, I'm just putting the idea out there. And yes, it was kind of a large bump.

The floppy drive is mostly for novelty purposes. It may be 86'd though, due to ease of space.

Thanks for reminding me about this project, I should probably get back to it.

By use Office, I mean the program. And the reason I picked this specific computer was because I have it laying around doing nothing, along with like two other P4s.
