Help my family choose a new ISP.

According to my dad, our phone company is going to be dropping its DSL service entirely within the next couple of weeks. This means we need to decide on someone else for internet and soon. Our options are pretty terrible, though. We can either go with Charter or get internet service as part of the AT&T U-Verse package. You guys probably know more about this than I do, so I'd appreciate any assistance or insight you can provide.

Yeh, if you have Pavlov in your area just don't do it.

My apartment complex uses it, and it *Can'tSayThisOnTV*ing sucks.

Keep in mind U-Verse has a 250gb cap (regular att dsl also has a 150gb cap). I've never had Charter, but assuming they're anything like Comcast, they're probably a pretty bad company business wise, but have much better speeds for the price.

Personally, I went with Comcast over ATT in my area because they were the lesser of the two evils, and at least I get fast internet.
