Here's a different project a friend asked me to do for him. I put a portable cd player inside of a psone. I gutted the psone but kept the original ports and wired up the cd player to the ports so the original a/v and power cable can be used. I used an old cell phone charger as the power supply actually. I also rewired the controller circuit board so the controller can be used as the cd player controls. Pretty neat mod, kinda useless but this is defiantly the baddest cd player out there.
Oh also apparently the psone plays cds but this can be hooked up to a stereo without the tv and the laser is brand new. Also the psone I borrowed was broken anyway.
Even the red led and the on/off switch still function like normal. The reset button on the console acts as the pause/play button which can also be controlled on the controller too.
