This is going to be a long shot, but I'm looking for a cartridge reader to replace the one on a Game Gear system I currently have.
I've been debugging the system for days now and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It usually crashes with distorted game display.
From looking at all components, I noticed that the black cartridge reader mounted on the board has a faulty pin, in that it's totally bent and twisted, which probably results in false contact when inserting a game.
Tried putting it back in it's position, but not getting much luck with it, since the room to work inside is non-existent...
So was wondering if anyone has a spare reader for sale so I can actually replace mine and sell this refurbished game gear.
