I finished up another portable Gamcube this week and I figured I'd share some finished pictures of it. This portable was commissioned by Portable_Junkie here on the boards.

Original Gamecube controller face buttons and analog sticks
Face buttons and analog sticks mounted to screw posts to ensure longevity
Double Tact Modded L and R buttons for full compatibility
7.4v 4000 mah lithium ion battery pack
Sd Gecko wired in as slot B
Medium Cut Gamecube Revision B motherboard
Shielded Audio and Video lines to prevent unwanted interference
Stereo Audio and Heaphone jack with volume control
3d printed case with screw posts to ensure sturdy construction

That's fantastic. Clean, and very well built. Im more of a curved geometry guy myself, but I still love this. Looking forward to version 4.

Thanks man. Maybe sometime in the future I'll make a curvy version. It's just a bit simpler to use a more flat and angular shape. Not to mention the parts fit better in such a shape.

Certainly. You can get a much smaller form factor much easier using an angular design. Its much more efficient.

But organic curvature just feels so nice in the hands.

Real portables have curves.

I'll see what I can do about making a video. Since I only use my cell phone to record video, it will be difficult for me to play and record at the same time.
