Controller Question

I have a wireless GC controller. The transmitter/receiver at both ends is wired the same. In fact, the T/R chips are exactly the same. If I wired the the controller to the power supply and used wires to connect the controller to receiver, could I use it for my GCp? I'd essentially be bypassing the wireless circuit and creating a wired controller.

Sweet. I now have an extra if i need it. HOORAY!

*EDIT* Looking for any and all controller related posts. I did search just not coming up with anything really useful that i can see.

I know the ground and +5. whats V and S for and where does it go on the mobo?

IF your talking about the wires coming out of the controller and going to the port:

Unfortunately that's not what I'm looking for. I may just keep the ports and shorten the controller cable. Actually....that's not a bad idea....
