connection issue

Hey eveyone, im using these batteries i jacked from a dvd player in my portable. my only issue is that i am not totally sure how to get power from the safe circuit. I know the little black thing is what was used to connect the batteries to the dvd player...so how should i go about this?

ok so i tore off the black thing and this is wat i got...

Voltage out should be the out- and out+ pins, not certain though. Try testing those points with a multimeter to see if you get voltage.
