Commission for Gintoki - GameCube Fusion Rev. 2

Been getting a bunch of the electronics wiring done the past few days. Made some decent progress.

Motherboard is all wired up and tested 100% working, it looks a bit messy but I'll clean up the wire mess once its mounted in the case:

Batteries came in the mail and are wired and ready:

Custom reg is all wired and ready, not sure I've ever shown just how I wire mine so I showed both sides:

Still lots to do. Making nice progress though.

Its the same amp I used in the Revolution. Runs great off 3.3v. The packed in speakers sound a bit tinny, I switched them out for some DSLite speakers and its sounds great. I cant remember exactly what points I wired to off the top of my head. Just follow an\y standard ipod touch/iphone pinout and you should be good.

Pretty sure it was Zenloc that found this to begin with, so credit to him for the awesome find. :D

Whoops, original link was outdated. Here's a fresh one:

Thanks Hail, now I wont have to figure out how I wired it again. Little stuff like amps and such I never make any notes on, and I kick myself later for it.

Wait... Why 4 regs?

1.5v, 1.7v, 3.3v and 5v

5v is for the fan and external controllers only, kinda a waste of a reg but meh, whatever.

why do you need a 1.7V reg?

Anyway it looks amazing...

The 1.5v and 1.7v power the GPU and CPU separately reducing the current draw, makes the batteries last a little longer.

Going to try to close this up tonight or tomorrow morning provided I don't run into any unforeseen issues.

Just need to wire the stuff from the separate case halves together.
