I'm looking at making my third N64p.
This time round better than ever. My first was a good effort, small, worked but flawed. The second was very good, basically a replica of Loctronics latest N64p. With a few relocations.
Well, this time round, I am going to plan it out better and save as much space as possible. So 2 things I am looking for:
1) Whilst I am overseas and unable to do this myself. Can anyone give a definitive guide on which pins I can omit on the cartridge slot relocation? Basically, which pins can I simple bride on the connector i.e. ground 3.3v etc, so I don't have to run more excessive cables.
2) A suitable 5" screen to the ps one screen that has a small mobo. I don't need sound as I am making my own audio amp. I have found the ps one screen draws too much juice (I do the led mod to counter this). And the onboard audio amp is too easy to mess up. I broke it twice. The whole thing is too much headache, even after I massively trim it down, it is excessively big.
So a nice 4
screen with a small mobo will be appreciated.
